India being a cricket crazy country, IISc also has huge cricket fans. When we play for our team, the enthusiasm levels are the same as the Indian cricket team would feel. After all, cricket runs in our blood!!! Cricket club takes the selection trials for joining in the IISc cricket team. All the participants are asked to attend several net sessions. People who perform well in the nets are called for the practice matches, which is played on Sundays and in 50 overs format. The club invites all the interested IIScians (students and children of staff or faculty of IISc) to be a part of IISc cricket Club.
