About Us

We are a group of cycling enthusiasts who ride solo and in groups during weekends around the Bangalore country-side. The club was created on 14th August 2019 by Peter D'souza but, community of cyclists in IISc is however not new. Before the IISc cycling club, there existed two clubs in IISc: the IISc Bikers Network and the IISc Randonneurs which are currently not functional as the members have graduated from IISc. The main objective of this club is to revive the cycling culture in IISc.

Activities

Weekend rides: alternating short distance(<40km) and long distance(~80Km) Workshops: Cycle maintenance, nutrition, race planning. Races: IISc cycling race separate from spectrum, duathlons, and traithlons Bangalore Races: Building an IISc team to represent IISc in BBCh and other races
