About Us

Kabaddi club is the newest club of IISc gymkhana established in September 2018. Our club was formed for participating in Inter IISER Sports Meet (IISM-2018) held at NISER Bhubaneswar. Kabaddi is a truly indigenous and a contact team sport, played between two teams of seven players each. All the IIScians are invited to join the club. No prior training is required.

Activities

The club provides all the necessary equipment required (Elbow and Knee Guards, etc.) to play the game and help novices to learn the sports. 

Organize the kabaddi championship as part of IISc's Sports-cum-Cultural fest (Spectrum).
Participate in Inter IISER Sports Meet (IISM).
Friendly matches are played frequently.
