XpressionZ is a development community, a registered NGO which aims mainly at training and developing unexplored talents and exposing them to various challenges through a combination of fun and theatre. XpressionZ has worked with eminent institutions like Christ University, Bangalore, CIMA Bangalore, Udaan Performing Arts, Hyderabad, United Study abroad consortium (USAC an international venture), Script People’s theatre, Shell, Centre for social action, bangalore, Association of people with disability, Davanagere, Karnataka College.

Akshayambara

‘Akshayambara’ is an experimental Kannada play that uses both modern theatrical tools and the dance drama form of Yakshagana to create a contemporary narrative that raises questions on female representation and male ownership. The play was developed through the INLAKS Scholarship ’14, supported by the India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) and premiered at the Ranga Shankara Theatre Festival ’15. It was recently nominated in eight categories at the Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards (META) ’16 where it won Best Original Script & Best Actor (Male).

Performance by Art and Literature club
The Art and Literature Club brings together all art and literature enthusiasts in the institute by regularly holding events and programs. The club came into existence in February 2016 with poetry and storytelling activities in open theatre and got official recognition in March 2018 and has been holding monthly poetry and storytelling sessions. Many noted poets, storytellers & writers living in Bangalore have graced the sessions. These sessions are open to everyone and all languages are celebrated equally. Apart from these sessions, the club has also organized a poetry workshop in March 2018 as a part of the Spectrum'18. The club also participated in Sangam'18 by staging a dramatized short story.
