The Indian Institute of Science located in the city of Bangalore is India’s premier institute of research in Science and Technology. It has been at the forefront of research in the country for over a century and has contributed significantly to bringing India on the scientific world map through numerous discoveries and inventions.
Students’ Council (SC) at Indian Institute of Science (IISc) is an elected student body that seeks to improve and maintain the integrity, inclusiveness, and sustenance of the ecosystem of all the stakeholders of IISc fraternity. SC has the potential to transform the academic, cultural, intellectual and physical wellbeing of the IISc students. Around the year, various technical, cultural and thought-provoking national and institute level events are organized by the Students’ Council.
Sangam, an Institute-level cultural event organized by the Students’ Council of IISc, is very popular among the IISc fraternity. Sangam’19 will be a seven-day festival of Art & Culture; music, dance, drama, ramp walk, sand art, and various interesting competitions; Dumb charades, Cooking without fire, Treasure Hunt, Quiz, Graffiti etc. The Sangam’19 will also witness performances by several national level performers & artists from all over the country.
